Here we all are for another week. Today we’re sitting in a virtual village square. Our hostess for this weekly gathering is the talented and gracious writer and artist, Rochelle Wisoff-Fields. We’re the Friday Fictioneers group. Our challenge this week and every week is to write an original story with no more than 100 words not including the title. It’s supposed to have a beginning, middle, end, and follow the picture prompt for the week. This week’s prompt was requested by Russell Gayer and supplied by John Nixon. Thanks, Russell, and John.
To read the other stories by the group members, just click on the link given below, then on the little blue frog in the blue box.

UNBELIEVABLE LUCK by P.S. Joshi
My big brother has the kind of luck that happens once in a great while, almost unbelievable.
He heard there was a pretty new girl in town and decided to get her attention. He and his friend, Len, went to work. They borrowed a manikin, got some used clothes from the thrift shop, and an old upright piano. The arranged it to look as though some guy was half in and half out and put it in the town square.
The girl, when told who did it, called my brother–called “him”. Can you believe that? They just got engaged.
Charming story, Suzanne. What a clever prompt. Hugs!
