    • It was so sad. As I’ve said before, my husband was an unmedicated bipolar sufferer and thought he could get friends by giving them money. Some of his so-called friends were hangers on. We had to limit the amount he could get from his account. He could never tell me where it went. He’d just hand it out to anyone with a sad story who was nice to him. He could never understand in his last years why he couldn’t get more money from the ATM than he could. My son used to limit the amount he put in that account or his dad would have given away all the money each month. You can’t reason with a person with mental problems. He used to threaten he’d go to the U.S. and take my name off the joint account. I had to make sure he stayed here. He used to take one of those hangers on with him to the ATM and brag how much he got every month. I’m glad you liked the post. Hugs to you also. 🙂 —- Suzanne
