“We the people” are fully aware that the republican President Donald Trump believes that he is not bound to abide by the rule of law as most of us are. It appears that he had been intending all along to pardon his buddy, Sheriff Joe Arpaio if he ended up being convicted.

On August 26, 2017, Philip Rucker and Ellen Nakashima of the Washington Post penned the following report, “Trump asked Sessions about closing case against Arpaio, an ally since ‘birtherism.’


“As Joseph Arpaio’s federal case headed toward trial this past spring, President Trump wanted to act to help the former Arizona county sheriff who had become a campaign-trail companion and a partner in their crusade against illegal immigration.”
