What we need to understand.
While the name of “antifa” which means ant-facsists dates back to past fascist regimes, as early as the 1920s, this current “antifa” group does not date back to olden days but it is a recent phenomenon starting in 2016. Based on my research, the name of “antifa” has come into vogue where it is frequently used versus rarely mentioned after the August 2017 Charlottesville, VA. events where a White nationalist rally turned violent. It is my premise that this group Disrupt J20 and those who joined them, are those that the police and media have been blaming for the US presidential inauguration day’s violence. Over time this group DisruptJ20 and those who joined up have been morphed into the name “antifa.”
