Federal Court Ruled Against President’s Order To End DACA Protections

Good for the judge. This administration is getting overbearing without just cause.

On January 9, 2017, a federal court judge granted a reprieve to the 800,000 DACA dreamers ( (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) by ruling that the president’s administration’s order to arbitrarily end this protection from deportation for young peoples who came here as children with their parents from different countries, and who consider themselves as Americans, was based on a faulty legal premise.

So the young dreamers now have a layer of protection as the US Congress works on legislation (January 2018) to protect these young people from deportation to countries they have never known.
