Western Bluebirds live at The Holler, but basically never visit The Holler Spa.

So you can imagine how thrilled I was when these beauties showed up in force!

I am convinced they came,

as bluebirds of happiness,

to wish you a very Merry Christmas and even Happier New Year!

  3. Lovely. I wonder if there is a particular bird referenced when people use that phrase? I mean, there had to be a blue bird somewhere that prompted the idea? I wonder if these little birdies are behind the rumors?

  4. Thanks, Kirizar. I’m glad you liked the photos. Happy Holidays. Well, they’re blue so could have been the ones first given the name. I noticed the plain ones must be the females. So often the males are brighter than the females of the different birds. 🙂 — Suzanne
